Seasons Greetings

May I take the opportunity to wish you all a safe and enjoyable Cristmas and hope that 2024 is kind to you .

After the last 12 months I don’t think I will be planning too much, especially as I’m going to have to get a new hip at some point.  In terms of the hobby I will let the butterfly take me where it will ( although behind the scenes my focus will be on 15mm ACW/ECW and 10mm AWI) my blogging will continue and I will endeavour to post a little more, I have no shortage of content but there are occasions where the will is sadly lacking 🤣

I’m hoping to get more board games played and looking more closer at crossover games where situations can be taken from board game to table. Norm on Battlefields and Warriors is the main inspiration for this.

So I hope Santa brings you all that you wish for …..

Hi Graham, thanks for a year of influential blogging and a big thanks for te time that you gave the Wavre play by e-mail campaign.

Over time, I think blogs reveal much about their authors and I am left with the impression that we take a similar outlook to our wargaming and interests there-in.

Will be interested to see which of your boardgames, like cream, rise to the top!

Best Wishes for Christmas.

Thanks for your best wishes and comments. For some reason I still can’t respond to individual comments that are posted!
Jonathan I have Alexander’s Battles - deluxe 😁 that I got second half of this year and on its way to me is the latest release in the Men of Iron series - the Normans…. So they are both high on the agenda.

Alexander’s Battles is a good one. While I have others in the Men of Iron series, I did not P500 Norman Conquest.

I'm late to the party so will wish you a Happy New Year instead, Graham. Glad you are having a more free wheeling time with your wargaming lately, but sorry that another health issue is creeping up on yu. Try to take it easy if you can. With very best wishes Chris G
