Bastion finished

i know you may be mighty bored of this by now 🤣 However the final parts for the bastion are done, I'm well impressed.
I shall now do some walks etc and let you have a rest before there's any more printing updates.

Not bored at all, merely gob smacked at what can be achieved.

Graham - this stuff is fantastic - is this in 28mm scale? Could it be scaled down to 15mm without much hassle? How big is this piece you've shown us today?

That's all the questions for the moment! - I'm fascinated and pretty excited about all this stuff - brilliant.

Ha, I will get the measurements tomorrow and yes this is 28mm but I reduced the dimensions by 10%
Scaling down to any scale is straight forward take the original size 1/56 so 56 and divide by scale you want 1/72? Ie 72 answer is o.77 so reduce dimensions to 77% ( simples) like you I’m fascinated by it all

That's a solid chunk of Wargames goodness you've got there....
Magister Militum sell their vaubanesque bastion for £73 and walls for about half that. So but the time you've bought enough for a fort you could have bought a printer and done it yourself as you have!

Stuart,
I will work out what it's cost me but I guess that was my logic!

Graham, I was in awe of the first sections but now this bastion is complete even more so! I'm enjoying seeing just what this technology can do. I would love to see that 15mm Sherman you printed if possible? I'm seriously considering getting a printer when I'm back in the Uk. Will check the buzon tomorrow to see if those RHA officers have arrived :) Keep the posts coming!

That bastion looks the business. The more I see what you are doing, the more I am tempted to buy a 3d printer myself. I will follow your progress with interest

Wow - that is tremendous . I'm looking for some pre-formed outworks for a model I'm building which includes Sarissa Precisions' Bastle and Peel tower models . Sadly they don't yet do a z plan tower house . I was looking for something like your fine piece as a commercially "buyable" item to form outworks for the Peel ....any ideas ?
