Battle of Sanderhausen - Part 1

Table set for the arrival tomorrow of John Rich and Simon Miller for a refight of my take on the Battle of Sanderhausen.

Background and details of the action tomorrow.
In the meantime a view of the French lines and along the valley to the waiting enemy.

Graham is that set out historically or are you giving the players any latitude on deployment?

Looks wonderful Graham. A fine bunch of wargaming identities having a battle mid-week. Now that is most civilised!

Chris,
As per - no latitude for deployment on this one. Not that there is much option other than for the French and their cavalry!

Must be a little of that mid summer madness or the enthusiasm one gets after watching that Waterloo movie to get the toys on the table

A lovely looking game Graham....
And a rather splendid array of French flags...

All the best. Aly

Umpiring this one, funny how I find that sometimes being the umpire can be just as much fun as taking part 😀

Aly,
Thanks the French infantry may be a bit boring with a preponderance of white but their flags do make up for it.

looks great. I might have to invite your French along for a game. You can come too of course.

Colin,
knowing my French they'd come without me anyway.
