It’s been a while but my winter project to insulate the garage and rebuild the gaming table is now into final stages.
All the construction work is done, so walls and ceiling suitably insulated and boarded, rubber mats laid on floor and table rebuilt to now give a 9’x5’ playing surface with the option to extend to 12x5.
The new bike store arrives shortly so bikes, ladders and all the other non gaming bits will be removed.
Anyway mighty pleased, it is noticeably warmer.
I also bought a sheet of 2mm neoprene to lay over the table to act as a base layer, it takes out any little variations, screw holes etc.
This also means that I can reorganise the loft where I’m very fortunate to have my painting table and a 4x4 gaming table which is ideal for skirmishes or board games.
So hopefully once I’m able to allow son and or friends access game on.

Nice looking game room! 😎
This is going to be a wonderful gaming space Graham. Looking forward to your interior design work as I’m sure it will be spectacular.
Excellent space there Graham. Needs a suitably grand game as a commissioning event I feel. As a thought, if you have a concrete floor then anti-fatigue mats are going to help with standing up for long periods and letting the cold set in.
Great delight to be able to get a dedicated gaming space that large Graham. Looks like a lot of work to date and great plans to complete. Hope it gives you numerous hours of enjoyment.

Looks like a pretty nice gaming room Graham.
Inviting even. Well done!
Best Regards,

Thank you everyone for the comments, it was hard at times ( putting up 8x4 sheets on the ceiling ) but it I’ll be worth it.
Paul,
Anti fatigue mats already don on the floor - very effective. Just need some good picture to hang, a small tidy and then we’re rolling
A lovely space, I'm too frightened to go into my garage :-)
Splendid Graham...
A proper man cave indeed...
All the best. Aly
A great space Graham, good for both the head and gaming too!
Well done Graham, you deserve a nice room and decent sized table considering all you have done to promote our wonderful hobby, especially the mid 18th Century. That big wall needs an impressive battle painting - you know where to come :-)
