Managed to finish off the six figures this morning and take some better photos. Hoping to get figures sent off this week for production mould to be made.
The figures all come open handed so there's quite a variety of weapon changes. I also have had some pistols made up which can add to the options. Hope you like them.
Excellent work mate.
ReplyDeletenice, will be adding these to my collection I think!

Thanks for the coments, hope you do. Wjilst this is a personnal project the quicker I can recoup the costs the quicker I can advance the range ( depending on Richards commitments, but I'm glad you like them I know I do!
DeleteThose look very very very nice. I hope that you aren't using your master castings for the painted samples as you will need them to make your production moulds.
ReplyDeleteThanks gents. Knowing I couldn't wait to pick up a brush I paid for a couple extra 'spins' to give me some spares. All the best.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful painting work there!
ReplyDeleteHow do they compare with other figures?
Rob,
Deletethanks for the positive comments. They are 1/56th scale and are 31mm tall, in the style of Suren so quite slim and proportional so against Front Rank they are doomed.
Similar in height to Perry's and it depends which of their figures you scale them Hessians look quite stocky but the Brits in the AWI range not too bad.
I did these primarily as a sop to myself for my Scotia-Albion campaign the range will be nice and impressive to look at of that Im sure. Richard is a talented sculptor.
These figures will work perfectly with the RSM range of Jacobites (it is a small range with a mix of firing and charging figures) and RSM British and French figures. Of course, you could also use some of the Minden SYW Highlanders and simply paint them in civilian clothing colors to convert them into Jacobites.
ReplyDeleteThanks, I have quite a few Mindens and some RSM although I haven't seen his Jacobites. When I place my next order may get a few, just need to focus on getting more of my chaps done.
DeleteNice figs, nice painting

Cheers, hopefully the first casts will arrive either the end of this week or early next. I will update the blog. Richard hopes to start on the next set of sculpts, 6 Highlanders in jackets, Officer(s) and piper late June.
